Terms & Conditions

Please read this information carefully and check the details confirmed to you on your Booking Confirmation invoice, as these form the basis of your contract.

YOUR HOLIDAY CONTRACT – When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions.  A contract will exist as soon as we issue our Booking Confirmation invoice.  We reserve the right to correct errors or revise costs at any time prior to issue of the confirmation invoice. We also reserve the right not to accept any booking.

PAYMENT – A deposit payment, equal to 25% of the total booking cost, is due within 7 days of the initial reservation. Payment by debit card, credit card, or BACS bank transfer in Euros to our Piraeus Bank Account in Corfu. The Balance of the rental is due eight weeks before your arrival date.

CANCELLATIONS – Cancellation charges are applied as follows:

More than 8 weeks prior to arrival loss of deposit.
4-8 weeks prior to arrival 75% of total rental cost.
0-4 weeks prior to and after arrival 100% of rental cost.

Cancellation charges are based on the total holiday costs.

The above cancellation charges represent a reasonable estimate by the Company of the likely losses resulting from your cancellation. Cancellation charges also apply to partial cancellations (e.g. where a Client books for two weeks but amends to one week. In this case, cancellation charges would apply to the second cancelled week). In the event of a cancellation charge arising under this clause the amount due must be paid by the Client to the Company within 7 days of the charge arising, notwithstanding the fact that the Client’s holiday insurance policy may cover the cancellation charge. It is the Client’s responsibility to claim any insurance monies due as the Company cannot claim on behalf of the Client.

FINAL BALANCE PAYMENT  The final balance will be come due 56 days before the date of arrival.  If this amount still remains unpaid 14 days after the due date, the booking shall be deemed cancelled and the cancellation charges set out above will become payable.

CHECK-IN/OUT TIME – The apartment will be available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.

SECURITY DEPOSITS / DAMAGES – We do not take a security deposit for any of our apartments and work on a trust basis.  We do, however, reserve the right to invoice the person who made the booking for any damage howsoever caused to the apartments and its contents.  The amount will be equal to the full cost of replacement or repair of any item or items damaged during the period of the rental.

LINEN CHANGE & HOUSEKEEPING – The linen and towels will be replaced once during a stay of 6 nights or more and every 3/4 days thereafter. The apartment will be cleaned on the days when the linen is changed.

BEACH / SUN LOUNGER TOWELS – Each guest will be supplied with an extra large beach towel for the duration of their stay. These towels will not be laundered by our staff. We have a communal washing machine and drying area available to all guests should you wish to launder your beach towel during your stay.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to the number which appears on your Booking Confirmation    People other than those in the guest party may not stay overnight in the apartment. Any other person in the apartment is the sole responsibility of the first named guest.

MINIMUM STAY – All the apartments require a seven (7) night minimum stay. Shorter breaks may be available, please email reservations@damianosapartments.com

FALSIFIED BOOKINGS – Any booking obtained under false pretenses will be subject to the loss of advance payment and/or rental, and the party will not be permitted to check in.

PASSPORTS & VISA – It is the responsibility of the guest to check any Passport, VISA, health & immigration requirements well in advance of travel.  For up to date information please visit your local government website for travel to Greece.

WATER – Unfortunately from time to time Greece like many southern European countries experiences temporary loss of telephone lines, power and water shortage and sometimes a complete loss of supply. The apartments have their own Water Storage Tank (Sterna) and in the event of loss of mains water supply our back up supply will take over. In the event of a sustained period of loss of mains water we will ensure that a delivery of water is made as soon as possible to replenish our storage tank and to avoid unnecessary discomfort.

SWIMMING POOL – Any person entering the swimming pool are advised by virtue of this notice that they are using this facility entirely at their own risk and that they are fully aware that there are no life-saving facilities of any nature provided and therefore indemnify the owners of this facility in full and shall have no claim of whatsoever nature against the owners including any claim from any injury/ bodily harm/death and or/loss of property which could arise from the use of this facility.  Any person using the swimming pool area are reminded that they should not enter the swimming pool having consumed alcohol or drugs.

We as the owners of Damianos Apartments, are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or using its facilities. We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation and making payment, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.

The renter agrees to keep the apartment and all furnishings in good order, damage & breakages will be charged according to their present day value.

Only use appliances for their intended uses.

We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance.
