Greece is Open !

Direct flights from the UK to Greece resumed on 15th July 2020.

On 4th July 2020 the FCO (Foreign and Commonwealth Office) lifted its ban on all but essential travel to Greece.

From the the 10th July travellers returning from Greece to the UK will not be required to self – isolate for 14 days.

Damianos Apartments are open !

We are open and looking forward to welcoming our guests this summer.

All the local tavernas, bars, boat hire companies, supermarkets, taxis and and car hire offices are open.

 

Operational Plan for managing Covid – 19 

To manage the risk of Covid -19 this year we have put in place an operational plan for the apartments.

1. Your apartment will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival, as per the Health Protocols issued by the Greek Government.
2. The doors and windows will be left open to allow for good ventilation.
3. Hand sanitiser dispensers have been placed in each apartment.
4. The air conditioning remote controls have been placed in plastic bags that will be disposed of at the end of your stay.
5. We have implement a choice of 3 options for room cleaning to minimise the number of visits into each apartment by our cleaning staff. Guests can select which option they prefer.
6. All our cleaning staff will always wear a surgical face mask, disposable gloves and a disposable apron when working in your apartment.

Outdoor communal areas

1. Our guests are asked to observe the 2m distance rule at all times when outside their apartments.
2. The communal BBQ has been removed for this season.
3. The communal washing machine has been removed for this season.
4. The number of tables and chairs around the pool has been reduced to allow a 0.7m distance between chairs. Please wipe the chairs and tables down with the wipes and sanitisers provided before and after use. This also applies to the sun umbrellas.
5. The number of sun loungers have been reduced to allow a 2m distance between each sun lounger. Families or guests sharing the same apartment do not have to keep this minimum distance. Please wipe down the sun lounger before and after use with the sanitiser and wipes provided. Each guest has their own sun lounger towel for their own personal use during their stay.
6. Please do not share this towel and always take it back to your apartment when you are not using it.

Swimming Pool

1. Please use the separate shower cabin before entering and after using the pool.
2. Soap and liquid antiseptic are provided.
3. Health protocol regulations dictate 1 person in the pool per 5 sqm of surface water. This allows a maximum of 15 swimmers in the pool at any one time.
